Your own luxury, fully furnished apartment in the middle of Gamla stan for your stay in Stockholm? Sounds nice, doesn't it? It is great indeed, that's what I can say from my experience. Been to some of the apartments at Residence Perseus in the meantime. When arriving in Gamla stan, you head to one of the nice small streets with the red/orange/yellow houses and after a short walk you arrive at Baggensgatan 17 where the entrance to Residence Perseus is. You get the key and an explanation about everything you need to know about the apartment.
When you enter the apartment, don't forget to close your mouth again. Because the apartments are really nice and some of them also really big! Wooden floors, ancient ceiling on one of them, modern bathroom/shower and toilet. The view of some apartments is to Österlånggatan, a usually very frequented street. But don't worry, you don't hear a noise inside the apartment. Other apartments have a view on Baggensgatan which is very silent. You have everything you need and more, Wifi of course, washing mashine, dryer, dishwasher, sofabeds and this nice moment you step out of "your" apartment in the middle of beautiful Gamla stan.
Of course a stay there has its price, but at the same time depending on the season it costs you less than a stay in a normal hotel in the swedish capital city when you have one small room with maybe not even enough space for your luggage. Residence Perseus has several apartments in the same building, from a studio (Delight) to Prestige which sleeps up to 10 guests. And to have your own apartment in the middle of beautiful Gamla stan is priceless anyway!
To make it short: I'm convinced that it's very difficult to find a nicer place to stay in Stockholm! Check out the website for more information.
And if you're ever planning to visit the swedish westcoast: there are also some new apartments by Residence Perseus in Båstad (Skåne).
