About small streets that lead somewhere

There are thousands of small streets in Stockholm, as in every city. But not in every city, those unspectacular looking streets lead to somewhere interesting. When walking through Gamla stan, you should walk those streets and see where they lead. Very often, they only lead to the parallel-street of course. But sometimes, there are some things you would not see if you just passed by. Try this for example: When you walk Drottninggatan to Gamla stan, you pass Riksbron and Stalbron and take the road on the right of the royal palace, called Västerlånggatan and search on your right for the small street that looks like the one in the picture. Walk it and see what happens. Did you already know that? What did you discover? Tell me!
