If you like fine dining, restaurant Skeppsbron 10 is the perfect place. It is in beautiful Gamla stan, the name is also the address. You can get food that is a pleasure for all senses, as it tastes absolutely amazing and it also is beautifully presented on the plate. In summer, they have a summermenu with a choice of snacks, starters, main courses and desserts. Of course there are also vegetarian options. There is also a weekly meal. You can find the menu on their website. At other times of the year you can get a multiple-course meal. I was there during summer so I tried the beeftartare, the shrimps, the cod (with potatoes and sallad), the grilled avocado and the berrysorbet. Everything was cooked perfectly, portions were generous and I got a recommendation for the matching wine from the friendly and motivated staff. All of this for a price that is very fair (and might surprise positively some of the visitors that are used to much higher prices for such a meal from their country). The venue is beautiful and elegant and there are also a few tables outside with a view on Skeppsholmen. There is also a bar, so you can come by at any time of the day. Check out the opening times, book a table or just pass by. This restaurant is definitely a recommendation when you love food and like meals you will remember.
